Flower Signup: For summer services in Hanover Center, which begin July 4th, congregation members are asked to provide the two flower bouquets. Contact Christine Hoskin to sign up or if you have any questions. Thank you for your consideration.
Hanover Center Community Fellowship: There has been a long-standing organization in the Hanover Center Church - the Hanover Center Women’s Fellowship. This organization is a service group for the Hanover Center Church. It runs fundraisers and community events, such as the Chicken Pie Supper and rummage sales (in years past), as well as provides funds for local church and community members in need and/or local nonprofit organizations, support for church member events such as illnesses, funerals, and weddings, and contributes to the upkeep and cleaning, repair, and renovation of the Hanover Center Church building.
The organization has just changed its name from the Hanover Center Women’s Fellowship to the Hanover Center Community Fellowship. This is an outward symbol of our goal to be more inclusive as we welcome everyone who would like to participate in providing the above services for the church. All are invited.
Christine Hoskin is the president of the organization and keeps an email list of anyone who would like to be notified when the Fellowship has an upcoming meeting or event. If you would like to be added to this list and participate in the organization at any time, please contact Christine.
Our next event will be to clean the Hanover Center Church the last week of June, after the Chicken BBQ and before services begin on July 4th. All are welcome!
Traffic help needed: Volunteers are needed to help direct traffic on Saturday, June 26th between 4:30 and 7:00 pm (there will be shifts) for the Chicken BBQ (see below). No skills required other than a willingness to stand by the Hanover Center Common and flag people so they know where they are going. Please contact Christine Hoskin to volunteer.
Chicken BBQ - June 26: Make your reservations now! ½ chicken, coleslaw, beans, a roll, and a cookie - $15 per takeout meal. Contact Elaine Hawthorne by email or phone to make your reservation (required).

Bible Study: Our spring Bible study is (still) on! Join Pastor Chris on Sundays at 7:00 pm, live in Trumbull Hall or via Zoom, for a study called “How to Read the Bible”. This study is for everyone, no matter how much experience you may or may not have with the Bible. The Bible is a large book, but it doesn’t have to be intimidating. If you prefer to attend via Zoom, email Pastor Chris for the meeting information. This is a six-week study which started on May 16. Prior attendance is not required, nor is attendance for all six weeks (i.e., “drop ins” are welcome, as one’s schedule permits!).
