Special note for Sunday morning Service on May 23: Due to technical issues that we’re working to resolve, there will not be a video feed to Trumbull Hall for the Sunday morning’s service this week (May 23). People are welcome to sit in the sanctuary or to bring a chair and sit outside and listen to the service. Pastor Chris says this WILL be fixed by next Sunday and we do both plan and intend to continue to use Trumbull Hall as a seating option for our Sunday services going forward. Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding!
Mission Moment: The Hanover Center mission fund supports a number of local and global organizations. This coming Sunday morning’s Mission moment will introduce us to the work of the DRUG COURT, which provides an alternative to incarceration for drug use offenders.
Bible Study: Our spring Bible study is on! Join Pastor Chris on Sundays at 7:00 pm, live in Trumbull Hall or via Zoom, for a study called “How to Read the Bible”. This study is for everyone, no matter how much experience you may or may not have with the Bible. The Bible is a large book, but it doesn’t have to be intimidating. If you prefer to attend via Zoom, email Pastor Chris for the meeting information. This is a six-week study, which started last week. Prior attendance is not required, nor is attendance for all six weeks.
Ham and Bean Supper Update: We are very pleased to announce that over 150 people were fed via our Drive-Thru Ham and Bean Supper on May 15, raising $1,630 toward our outreach program. “Leftovers” were also available and enthusiastically snapped up by folks last Sunday morning – resulting in additional donations raising the total to $1855! Thanks to all who made the event possible, and we thank God for your generosity!
Hanover Center Chicken Barbecue June 26, 2021: Take-out Chicken BBQ will be available on Saturday, June 26; details will be provided in the coming weeks. Contact Jeff Balch to participate in organizational meetings via Zoom or with any questions that you might have.
