Sunday Worship services with Pastor Roger 10 AM. On November 22, Chris Green preached at our worship service and church members vote unanimously to call Chris as our new pastor!!! Thanks to the Search committee and Pastor Roger who supported this process in the past year. The Lord is good!

With the arrival of colder weather, and the continued challenges to gathering in person presented by the pandemic, we will will continue with our normal access to the Zoom worship services with the church Zoom account, which includes toll-free dialing for those who wish to access the services via telephone. We welcome all members, regular attenders, and friends from near and far join us for our services!

Our new pastor in the New Year: In a joint meeting of the Etna Baptist Church and the Hanover Center Church, we unanimously voted to call Chris Green as our new pastor. Chris and his family will move to Etna not long after Christmas. We thank God for guiding Chris and our churches together.
*Choir Rehearsals: Choir rehearsals are at 7 p.m. Thursday via Zoom. Christine Hoskin will be sending out the Zoom link, recordings of music, and instructions to choir members for their participation. If anyone would like to join the choir, please contact Christine (firstname.lastname@example.org). All are welcome.
*Missions Committee: Our church currently supports nine ministries and we'll be having brief virtual visits by video/Zoom during Sunday services in November and December:
29 November and Dec. 6: Morgan Tam of Showers of Grace on Nov. 29 (story 1), and Dec. 6 (stories 2 and 3).
HANOVER CENTER WOMEN"S FELLOWSHIP:
** The 2020 Take-out Chicken Pie Supper was a success--raising over $3000 for community and church needs.
**Food Pantry Donations: A total of $1,900 has been donated to local food pantries in the past several weeks: the Lyme Food Pantry, the Lebanon Senior Center Meals on Wheels, and the Haven.
**Inclusiveness Goals: The Hanover Center Women's Fellowship is considering changing its name to be gender-neutral and more inviting and inclusive. ALL are welcome to participate in this organization - from Hanover Center and from Etna, both men and women. The efforts are primarily fundraising events to support the physical upkeep of the church, pay for electricity, and to help families in need in our community. Contact Christine Hoskin with any questions or to be added to the e-mail distribution for notification of events (christine at schoolhousefarm.net).
