Week of April 7, 2024

Christ is risen!  Christ is risen indeed!

The next day [John the Baptist]  saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! This is he of whom I said, ‘After me comes a man who ranks before me, because he was before me.’ - John 1:29-30 (ESV)

THE GRAFTON ORANGE SULLIVAN Association (UCC) will hold its annual meeting on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Post Mills United Church of Christ (Route 13) to conduct business, hear the treasurer’s report and to affirm local and outreach ministries of member churches. Contact Heidi Hoskin if you'd like to attend the meeting via Zoom.
Missions Committee:   The Missions Committee is pleased to announce support of Christian Union (CU) Vox at Dartmouth in 2024.  CU Vox is a campus ministry dedicated to preparing students for Christian leadership to effect personal, cultural and societal change locally and nationally.  The group's leader, Timothy Pillsbury, and the student president, Nicolas Halverson ('26), will visit us this Sunday April 7 to discuss their organization's purpose and operations.  They will address us briefly during the service and present an expanded version in Trumbull Hall afterwards.  We will have the opportunity to ask questions.  It promises to be the advent of what we hope will be a long and productive relationship.  Everyone is most welcome to join us.
Alpha Course continues at 6:30 pm this Sunday April 7: Alpha is a night of eating and group discussion. We look at some of the big questions of life, and the answers that the Christian faith gives to those questions. It's completely free, and there's no pressure to come back.  This week's topic: Why and how should I read the Bible?

If you're still curious -- and we do continue to urge you to Stay Curious! -- please join us this week, even if you couldn't be there last week. We'd all love to see you at Alpha!
